Sago Mini apps are known for their simple concept: you don’t have to reach any goals, but you’re allowed to play for fun. The app ‘Boats’ is also based on this concept.
The startup-screen is quite simple: one big, green button. Every child knows what to do with that. You may choose your Sago-friend, whoms suitcase you’re gonna pack. Clothes, foods, a toothbrush. When you’re finished, you hit the boat. At the dock, you can choose wich boat will take you on your journey.
Traveling
On and under water, you meet all kinds of animals. And food and little islands. At the islands you have the possibility to dock and collect extra items. After a long trip you arrive at the haven, where another Sago-buddy awaits you. You can give him your collected items and take a picture of the two of you.
About the app
The apps is build up with simple, colorfull – but not heavy – design. The little children will enjoy the fact that there’s no pressure whatsoever: no achievements have to be made. Older kids might think this a little dull, but children under the age of 5 will love it.
Very cute app, although the concept isn’t very different from the other Sago-Mini apps. There are no stories told, only the theme of the app is different every time. Extremely suitable for young children in the age of 2-5 years old.
